Artist, animator, graphic designer.

I have  worked as a freelance graphic designer and animator for 15+ years, and I have recently focused more on my artistic endeavours. My artistic practice combines bold forms, shapes, textures into a modern abstract geometric style that uses the tension and hierarchy of objects to create intriguing balanced forms. More recently I have been exploring using the canvas itself as a sculpturing element, sometimes framing but more often defining the forms within the works.

I have held two solo shows;  Tipping Points (House of Bricks, Melbourne, Australia, 2015),  and Electric Sunrise (Fernie Arts Station, 2022). I have also had my work hung in bar and cafe installations, been involved with group shows, and have participated in Fernie’s unique ‘Out of the Dupster’ program.

In my younger days I was a stencil artist, and painted walls around Melbourne. These learned techniques and mark-marking styles continue to influence my current practice.
